First update from the national teams

The past few days have been packed with international action involving our lads! During Austria's home win over Kosovo in the Nations League, two current Red Bulls (alongside many former ones!) took to the pitch - marking their debuts in the process. Christian Zawieschitzky guarded the Austrian goal during the 3–1 win, becoming the youngest Austria goalkeeper in 81 years, and the only goal our 19-year-old keeper conceded came from a penalty. Nikolas Veratschnig also made his well-deserved debut with a spot in the starting XI on his second call-up to the senior squad.

There were further Nations League appearances, including Haris Tabakovic playing for Bosnia against Poland. Although our striker started the match, the duel against Robert Lewandowski's side ended goalless. Meanwhile, Damir Redzic (who started and played 62 minutes) suffered a 0–1 defeat with Hungary against Ukraine.

We also saw two players start matches in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Abubakr Barry played for Gambia against Somalia; the midfield engine left the pitch in the 69th minute with his team leading 1–0, though his side conceded an equaliser three minutes later. Kevin Boma, meanwhile, celebrated a 1–0 win with Togo against Burundi.
