Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa is slowly improving his chances of remaining in charge of the team next season, reports Defensa Central. 

What looked uncertain only a few weeks ago now appears to be moving in a more positive direction, as there were reports that Real Madrid are looking at multiple options.

Recent performances from Real Madrid have left a strong impression on club president Florentino Perez. 

In fact, the team’s overall improvement, especially against Manchester City and Elche, the involvement of young academy players and the visible physical progress of the squad have all contributed to a growing sense of confidence in Arbeloa’s project.

The outlet mentions that for Perez, Arbeloa has always been a coach worthy of patience and trust. 

The former Real Madrid defender built his coaching career within the club’s youth system, where he worked his way through several levels before eventually reaching the first team. 

His development as a coach has been closely monitored by the club’s leadership.
