Arda Guler delivers Man of the Match display in Real Madrid’s win against Juventus | OneFootball

Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler produced an exceptional performance in the 1-0 win against Juventus in the Champions League last night. 

Jude Bellingham’s second-half strike sealed a third consecutive win for Los Blancos in the competition.

Guler continued his fine form with yet another flawless display in the midfield. He earned the Man of the Match award.

While Aurelien Tchouameni guarded the backline, the Turkish wonderkid pulled the strings with his immaculate playmaking.

He clocked a 96 percent pass success rate, delivered 10 passes into the final third, and created a game-high seven chances.

The 20-year-old also stood out defensively, completing 10 recoveries and five duels.

After struggling for regular game time in the 2024/25 campaign, Guler has flourished under manager Xabi Alonso this season, becoming an indispensable figure in the team.

He has now featured in 12 games in all competitions, bagging three goals and five assists. 

The Turkish international can play as an attacking midfielder, in a deeper role, or as a right winger, making him a valuable asset for Alonso.

He ranks in the 98th percentile for progressive passes, 99th percentile for key passes and passes into the final third, which places him among the leading attacking midfielders and playmakers in Europe.

Guler will be looking to replicate a similar top-level performance against Barcelona in El Clasico this Sunday.

After the setback against Atletico Madrid, Alonso’s men have bounced back with four straight victories and will be heading into the game in a confident mood.
