Argentina v Burkina Faso friendly, kick-off time and TV channel | OneFootball

Argentina host Burkina Faso in their second friendly of the international break, a low-key run-out before Lionel Messi’s final match with the national team on 7 October.

According to L'Équipe, with no competitive fixtures in the calendar, the World Cup finalists are using this window to fine-tune tactics and build cohesion. They opened with a 4-0 win over Bolivia last Thursday, a game Messi did not attend.

The standout in that victory was Nico Paz. The Como attacking midfielder, set to remain there next year, is viewed by some as Argentina’s next number ten. In 56 minutes he scored the second on 29 minutes and supplied a corner assist on 53.

He left to ovations at 56 minutes and, despite only 15 caps, has quickly caught the eye. Argentina now meet Burkina Faso for the first time. The Africans are regulars at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

Burkina Faso have already begun AFCON qualifying and are unbeaten so far with one win and one draw. Kick-off is at 02h00 on 4 October 2026 at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, live on La Chaine l'Équipe.
