Boca and fellow Liga Profesional leaders have ratified the suspension of round nine in support of the AFA, with the calendar to continue and the postponed date moved to May, altering the order of fixtures. According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the reprogramming has already been set.

What began as a collective political stance amid recent legal complaints against the AFA has been confirmed. After an Executive Committee meeting, the league will pause during the window originally allocated to round nine, yet the Torneo Apertura will still be completed in May.

The break applies only to that slot, the rest of the schedule carries on. Boca will play this Wednesday, making up round seven at Lanús on Wednesday 4 March at 21:00, a rearrangement required after Lanús contested the Recopa final.

For Claudio Úbeda’s team, upcoming league dates include San Lorenzo at home on Wednesday 11 March at 19:45, Unión away on Sunday 15 March at 22:00 and Instituto at home on Sunday 22 March at 20:00. River away follows on Sunday 19 April, time to be confirmed, before Central Córdoba away on Sunday 3 May, the rescheduled round nine.

The Copa Libertadores group stage runs from 8 April to 27 May. May becomes the decisive month domestically, with the round of 16 on the weekend of Sunday 10 May, the quarter-finals on Wednesday 13 May, the semi-finals on the weekend of Sunday 17 May and the final on Sunday 24 May.
