Bild reports that 18-year-old Can Armando Güner has rejected a new contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach and is set to join Galatasaray on a deal running to 2029, with head coach Eugen Polanski an admirer of the winger.

Galatasaray are expected to pay around €1 million for the transfer.

Güner has featured for Gladbach’s U19s this season and is expected to step straight into Galatasaray’s first-team squad.

His current deal at Gladbach expires this summer, and the club had hoped to extend it.

Internationally, he is eligible for Argentina, Germany and Türkiye, and has already represented Germany and Argentina at youth level.
