Spanish goalkeeper Arnau Tenas is close to joining PSG, according to Relevo.
The 22-year-old is currently without a team and has not yet made a final decision on his future. The former Barcelona player ended his contract with the current La Liga champions on June 30.
PSG are working on building a team for new boss Luis Enrique and are keen on the young shot-stopper. Tenas and Luis Enrique share a representative (Iván de la Peña), which could help the operation accelerate over the coming days.
After the accident suffered by PSG backup goalkeeper Sergio Rico, from which he is still recovering, and the imminent departure of Keylor Navas, Tenas has become an interesting option for the Parc des Princes outfit.
A goalkeeper with ability on the ball is fundamental for the former Spain head coach, who is well aware of the young keeper’s strengths. Luis Enrique has had him in his sights for some time, and not just because they have the same agent.
