Arrascaeta has addressed a row with Samuel Lino over an unplayed pass, saying the pair have spoken.

The issue surfaced after Flamengo’s 2-0 win over Mirassol, when Lino left the pitch unhappy at not receiving passes after making runs.

In the next match, a victory over Remo, Arrascaeta supplied the assist for a Lino goal.

"Honestly, once the match was over I saw his reactions. At times it looks easy, but I do not see the pass. Often I am thinking about what to do before I even touch the ball. I always try to have a pass in mind before receiving so I already have options."

He was speaking to Pod Boa.

"But I play with 10 other lads, sometimes he might be free, but I did not see it. I chose to pass to another team-mate, but we have already spoken at the training ground and it is fine."

After the game in Belém, Lino said there was no controversy, accepted he had been hot-headed, and stressed the squad were united in aiming for the best for Flamengo.
