Arrascaeta scored in Flamengo’s 3-0 win over Madureira in the first leg of the Carioca semi-final, a goal that put him alongside Zico and Adílio in a select bracket. According to Coluna Do Fla, they are the only three to register at least 100 goals and 100 assists for the club.

Zico’s tally stands at 509 goals and 204 assists. Adílio has 128 goals and 102 assists. Arrascaeta is on 100 goals and 109 assists.

His goal came from the spot after Samuel Lino received the ball in the six-yard box and was shoved in the back. The referee initially waved play on.

VAR then called the referee to review the incident. After checking another angle, he awarded the penalty and Arrascaeta converted to give the Rubro-Negro a first-leg advantage.
