France international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League
Luis Enrique has said he "doesn't know" what the future holds for Bradley Barcola, amid suggestions Liverpool are ready to walk away from a deal for the Paris Saint-Germain winger.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are also said to be interested in the France international, with claims they are ready to hijack their Premier League rivals after Vinicius Junior signed a new contract at Real Madrid.
Barcola has since reported back to PSG after his extended World Cup holiday and was named in the squad that travelled to Salzburg for Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup meeting against Aston Villa.
Naturally, the 23-year-old’s future was brought up during Tuesday’s pre-match press conference, though Enrique issued a rather vague update.
The Spaniard said: "I don’t know and I don’t want to speak about any player individually because it’s always when you ask things positively or negatively about a player.
"I stay focused on my team."
PSG have already bolstered their attacking options this summer by signing Maghnes Akliouche from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco and are thought to be nearing an agreement with Barcelona for Ferran Torres.
Given Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia are already existing options at PSG, Barcola may find game time limited at the Parc des Princes if he remains at the club post-summer transfer window.

A switch to Liverpool for the Frenchman is in danger of breaking down, if new reports are to be believed.
According to The Athletic, PSG have set their asking price for Barcola at around £145million but Liverpool are not willing to meet that valuation.
