Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has declined to comment on the future of Bradley Barcola.

Barcola has informed PSG that he does not intend to extend his contract, and they are open to selling him this summer.

Liverpool have emerged as a possible destination for the France international, but negotiations with PSG have been complicated.

The Reds are reluctant to meet the French giants’ £148 million valuation, particularly with Barcola having just two years remaining on his contract.

Asked about Barcola’s future during his pre-match conference ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup clash with Aston Villa, refused to elaborate.

“I don’t know, and I don’t want to speak about any player individually because it is always dangerous when you ask such a thing – positive or negative,” he said. “I stay focused on my team.”

PSG are working on separate deals to sign Ajax’s Mika Godts and Barcelona’s Ferran Torres, suggesting they are preparing for Barcola’s potential departure.

The 23-year-old has been included in the squad for the Villa clash, alongside Ibrahim Mbaye, who has also been linked with Liverpool.

Barcola only resumed pre-season training on Monday following his involvement with France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The former Lyon forward has reportedly been unable to train fully due to an illness, making him unlikely to start against the Villans.

PSG are aiming to win the UEFA Super Cup for the second consecutive year. They beat Tottenham Hotspur to win the trophy for the first time last summer.
