Gunners have previously been linked with a move for the Bournemouth winger
Antoine Semenyo has already revealed his love for Arsenal amid fresh speculation he could be on the move as early as the January transfer window.
The Bournemouth winger has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, scoring six Premier League goals in 11 appearances so far and weighing in with three assists.
Semenyo’s goal output is only bettered by two players across the entire division and one of them is Erling Haaland who is out on his own with a remarkable 14.
Such form has put a number of clubs on notice, and despite committing his future to the Cherries in the summer by signing a new five-year contract, there is talk of Semenyo moving on when the transfer window reopens.
This is due to a report from The Athletic that states the Ghana international new deal contains a £65million release clause, which will be active in January.
Furthermore, it is understood the clause must be activated by a certain date, as Bournemouth hope to give themselves enough time in the event they have to sign a replacement.
The Cherries hope to keep the 25-year-old at the Vitality Stadium until the end of the season, but reportedly acknowledge they may be ‘powerless’ to prevent his departure at the beginning of 2026.
Judging by Semenyo’s admission during an interview with The Athletic in October last year, a switch to the Emirates Stadium would seemingly be his ‘top pick’ if given his choice of clubs.
He said: “I am an Arsenal fan, I don’t conflict the two with my job. It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life and I want to play for the top clubs as well.
“In order for that to happen I need to prove it.”

Arsenal, previously, have been linked with a move for Semenyo but a January swoop appears unlikely with Mikel Arteta not short of options at left-wing.
Summer signing Eberechi Eze, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have shared duties there this season, while Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke have also been used on that side.
As per Sky Sports, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are said to be the clubs monitoring Semenyo ahead of the winter transfer window.
