Arsenal defender Fox signs new deal | OneFootball

Arsenal defender Emily Fox has signed a new contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.

The 28-year-old United States international joined Arsenal from American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club North Carolina Courage in January 2024 and she has gone on to be a success in North London.

Fox has gone on to make 93 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions in which she has scored three goals. She has won the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, UEFA Women’s Champions League and Subway Women’s League Cup with the club. Fox has played her part in a memorable chapter of Arsenal’s history.

After signing on again at the Emirates Stadium, Fox said “I’m so happy to be extending my stay here. This has felt like home since the moment I joined, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue to represent this club and compete for titles. To be a part of Arsenal is to be a part of something bigger, and I feel like I’m in the best place to keep pushing for more.”

Arsenal are next in action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
