Fox keen to ‘push for more’ after signing new Arsenal deal | OneFootball

Arsenal defender Emily Fox has signed a new contract with the club.

The United States international joined Arsenal from North Carolina Courage in 2024 and has since made 93 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.

“I’m so happy to be extending my stay here,” Fox said.

“This has felt like home since the moment I joined, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue to represent this club and compete for titles.

“To be a part of Arsenal is to be a part of something bigger, and I feel like I’m in the best place to keep pushing for more.”

Fox has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell in north London, helping Arsenal become European champions for the second time when they won the Women’s Champions League in May 2025.

That success came during her first full season at the club, shortly after she had returned from helping the United States win Olympic gold at the Paris Games in 2024.

Fox then added another trophy in the 2025/26 campaign as Arsenal became the inaugural winners of the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

The Gunners beat Brazilian side Corinthians 3-2 in the final at Emirates Stadium, with Fox setting up Lotte Wubben-Moy for Arsenal’s second goal.

Her performances have also earned significant individual recognition.

Fox was named in both the PFA Women’s Super League Team of the Year and the UEFA Women’s Champions League Team of the Year in each of her first two full seasons at Arsenal, while she was also nominated for the Ballon d’Or in 2025.
