Arsenal ‘exploring’ deal for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid is a wanted man in England with a view to next season.

This comes amid confirmation that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are giving real consideration to an offer for Blancos winger and talisman Vinícius Jr.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide this summer, the Gunners have been linked with potential moves for a whole host of players.

And this week, the gaze of those behind the scenes at The Emirates has made its way to the Spanish capital… As per a report from market expert David Ornstein of The Athletic:

‘Arsenal are exploring a move to sign Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior if he does not extend his contract in the Spanish capital. The Brazil international, 26, figures prominently among multiple candidates for the Premier League champions to bolster their attack.’

As of yet, no club-to-club talks have taken place, with it therefore unclear how willing Real Madrid are to entertain the prospect of their attacking standout moving on.

Vinícius’ current Blancos contract is due to expire in the summer of 2027.
