Arsenal defender Ben White is set for an imminent return to action and could be named in the squad to face Leicester City this weekend, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners star travelled to Dubai for warm-weather training and is edging closer to full fitness.
White underwent surgery on his knee last November on an issue that had lingered for a while and seen him play through the pain barrier for many months.
The Arsenal star is expected to return to action later this month in a much-needed boost for manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have been beset by injuries this season, with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli recently joining Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka on the treatment table.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is also likely to undergo surgery on a recurrent knee issue, but White’s will be useful as Arsenal prepare to go head-to-head with Liverpool during the final weeks of the season.
The 27-year-old has played 12 games across all competitions this term, missing their last 21 games.
It is unclear whether he will feature against Leicester on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
However, he could be ready to start when Arsenal take on West Ham United at Emirates Stadium next weekend before a trip to Nottingham Forest.
A win against the Foxes will help them close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool, and they need to go on a winning run to have a chance of pipping them to the title.
