Caitlin Foord scored four times as Arsenal beat Rangers 6-0 to reach their UEFA Women’s Champions League Round 1 group final.
Alessia Russo was also on target and Kim Little converted a late penalty, as the Gunners set up a League Path final with Rosenborg at Boreham Wood FC on Saturday, 7.30pm.
Rosenborg edged Atlético Madrid on penalties, Rebecka Wanvik Holum’s stoppage-time goal for the Norwegian side forcing extra time, before Lauren’s 119th-minute leveller for the Spanish team forced a shoot-out.
Celtic were 3-1 winners over Finnish side KuPS Kuopio after extra time, Saoirse Noonan equalising on 64 minutes before going on to complete a hat-trick. The Hoops go up against Lithuania’s Gintra in the group final on Saturday at 4pm.
Cardiff City suffered a 7-0 loss to FC Twente and will now contest third place in their group with Macedonian side ZFK Ljuboten, who were thrashed 10-0 by Valur.
Glentoran lost out 3-2 to ZNK Mura of Slovenia, after pulling two goals back through Chloe McCarron and a Demi Vance penalty. They meet Armenia’s Pyunik to decide third spot in the group.
Irish champions Peamount United defeated Dinamo-BSUPC from Belarus 2-1, Kerrie Letmon getting the decider in extra time. They play Osijek of Croatia to decide the group winner.
