FULL TIME! ARSENAL 0-0 LIVERPOOL
Gabriel fails to connect with Madueke's corner and a drab game ends with a very fair result and score line.
Not one that will be watched back with any fondness and a real missed chance for Arsenal to eight clear at the top.
Corner for Arsenal in what just might be the last play of the game.
Conor Bradley is down with what looks like a serious injury, and is being stretchered off.
Martinelli tried to push him off the pitch sparking a small and completely unneeded fracas. Poor from the Brazilian.
Four minutes of added time.
This is starting to look like a real missed opportunity for Arsenal to go eight points clear.
Liverpool inching closer to a valuable point.
Arteta booked for repeatedly leaving his technical area.
It's about time in truth.
Szoboszlai goes closer with his second free-kick, rippling the roof.
Under 10 minutes to go.
Very big calls from Arteta who's taken off Odegaard and Saka.
Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke are on meaning Arsenal have an entirely new front four.
A total of two shots on target in this game and it's hard to think of a clear chance.
Very, very little to report here.
20 minutes to go. Will we get a goal? Will we get a chance?
Frimpong gets himself in a great position on the right but messes up the final bit.
Tough shift for Lewis-Skelly.
Viktor Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard are off for Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli.
Another poor night for the Swede. Can the Brazilians do something?
Dominik Szoboszlai can't repeat the trick from August, firing a free kick high and wide.
Sums up the lack of quality on show here.
Hincapie is hobbling off with a knock and is replaced by Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Florian Wirtz goes down and there's shouts for a penalty but it comes to nothing.
Nice play from the German as he weaved through the Arsenal defence.
And we are back underway.
Let's hope for a better second half.
HALF TIME!
Very little between the sides at the break.
Liverpool will be much the happier side.
Two minutes added on at the end of the first half.
The ball falls to Declan Rice just outside the box after good work down the right hand side from Jurrien Timber.
However, he can't generate enough power on his shot and it goes straight at Alisson.
Saka almost fashions a chance inside the box moments later but Kerkez does well to hold him off.
Jeremie Frimpong is down receiving treatment after going over on his ankle.
He's asking for a penalty but Piero Hincapie brushed his leg at best.
The Liverpool man looks like he'll be okay to carry on.
Could do with a goal here to open the game up.
Will it come before half time?
It's wasted by Declan Rice, whose inswinger goes straight into the hands of Alisson.
Bradley then gives away a needless foul on Trossard and the Gunners have a chance from a free-kick.
The Reds have responded well to the early pressure and almost take the lead with their first attack.
It's a mix up between William Saliba and David Raya and Conor Bradley almost profits, clipping the bar with a chipped effort.
So close to a surprise away lead.
Liverpool need to ride the early storm - excuse the pun - here.
It's all Arsenal right now.
Saka is the main danger here, cutting through Kerkez and Alexis Mac Allister before taking a shot that tests Alisson shortly later.
Alisson punches away the first Arsenal corner. It's certain not to be the last.
Leandro Trossard is booked in the aftermath for pulling down Florian Wirtz on an attempted counter attack.
The England winger whips an early ball that Liverpool deal with well.
Cody Gakpo is out right helping out Kerkez.
Bukayo Saka has scored in the last three league meetings between the sides at the Emirates.
What odds on four in a row? His battle with Milos Kerkez tonight could be key.
The rain is absolutely pouring down.
Mikel Arteta and Arne Slot's coats are already drenched.
It is a stormy night with almost every single player in long sleeves.
Could the weather be a factor tonight?
KICK OFF!
And we're underway.
Just under 10 minutes until kick off in North London.
Arsenal are close to full strength with only Riccardo Calafiori missing while Liverpool are without Hugo Ekitike as well as Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak.
Curtis Jones is only fit enough for the bench in a further blow to the Reds.

In case you missed it, here are the teams.

An already big clash has become even bigger after last night's results which mean the Gunners can move eight points clear at the top of the table with a win.
Liverpool also had a good night with Chelsea losing and Manchester United drawing. Three points for them would put them in a strong position for a top four finish.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of tonight's Premier League clash between leaders Arsenal and champions Liverpool.
