Sami Mokbel and Nizaar Kinsella report for the BBC that Bournemouth are not willing to entertain offers for Alex Scott in January, despite the fact the midfielder will be entering the final 18 months of his contract at that stage.
Bournemouth have been pushing to renew Scott’s contract, but they’ve had two extension attempts turned down.
Even so, they’re keen to hold onto their best players for the remainder of the season, as they compete in the Europa League for the first time ever. Scott is apparently content to stay for now, but he ultimately wants to join one of the country’s top clubs.

On that note, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United have all previously shown an interest in the player, but the Manchester clubs are not expected to return for him in 2027.
Interest from the other three remains active. The article notes that Chelsea and Liverpool are both also interested in Lamine Camara of AS Monaco, which gives them an alternative option.
Only one of them can sign Camara, which would then presumably push the other to pursue Scott more seriously. But it does seem as though the situation is increasingly favourable to Arsenal, with their rivals for the signing cut from four to two.

Scott has made six appearances for Bournemouth this season, scoring once and assisting two goals for the side. Bournemouth have had a tough start to the Premier League campaign, losing to Manchester City and Liverpool, and drawing against Everton, Newcastle United, and Brentford.
As a result, the team sit 17th in the Premier League table, but they did win their League Cup and Europa League openers against Lincoln City and Real Sociedad respectively.
If Scott’s individual form remains strong and Bournemouth continue to struggle in the Premier League, it does seem like a matter of time until they sell him.
