In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey claimed that Chelsea are set to rival Liverpool for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. It has been mentioned that the Blues are showing interest in signing the English talent, but the Cherries are hoping to tie him down to a new contract.

Scott’s Impressive Form In English Football

Scott enjoyed a decent run of form at the English club as he has put in a run of impressive performances for them in the middle of the park. The 23-year-old scored four goals and earned one assist in 39 matches for the Cherries last season across multiple competitions.

The English sensation is currently among the most talented midfielders in the Premier League. Thus, it is no wonder that the Blues are in the running to land him in 2027.

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2028, which could open the door for Chelsea to land him on a cut-price deal next year.
