Arsenal star is an injury doubt for the next England game

Arsenal always dread the international break because of injuries, and so far, it is living up to expectations as Kai Havertz suffered an injury in his first match. Now, Ezri Konsa is also a doubt for England’s next match.

Last season, Arsenal lost several key players to injuries after they went away to represent their nations, and the Gunners will want to avoid a repeat of that situation during this campaign.

Arsenal know they will be powerless to stop injuries from happening, since football is a contact sport and they have no control over how an opponent will tackle their players. However, they will hope their squad returns from international duty in good condition.

The current Arsenal team has been one of the best they have assembled, and they have performed well in all competitions so far. They will need to return with a fit squad if they are to continue playing well.

Konsa Misses Full England Training

Ahead of England’s match against Czechia later today, it has now been revealed that Konsa is one of the doubts for the game. The defender did not train fully with the rest of the England squad during their latest session.

That has created another concern for Arsenal during an international break that has already seen Havertz suffer an injury. The Gunners will now be hoping that Konsa’s issue is not serious enough to keep him out for an extended period.

England manager Thomas Tuchel was asked about Konsa and Nico O’Reilly and admitted that he was not yet certain about their availability.

Tuchel Provides Injury Update

“I’m not sure yet,” Thomas Tuchel said when asked about Nico O’Reilly and Konsa via Hayters.

“They missed training because of minor issues but they are still issues.”

Konsa’s absence from full training means his availability for England’s match against Czechia remains uncertain. Arsenal will be monitoring the situation closely as they wait for their players to return from international duty.

The Gunners have already experienced the problems that international breaks can create, having lost key players to injuries last season. With their current squad performing well across all competitions, avoiding further injury problems will be important as they look to maintain their form.

For now, Konsa remains a doubt for England’s next match, leaving Arsenal hoping that his issue proves to be only a minor one.
