Arsenal are firing on all cylinders in the opening 20 minutes against visiting Wigan in their FA Cup fourth-round clash at the Emirates.
An opener in the 11th minute from an in-form Noni Madueke, a third strike in his last five appearances after not finding the back of the net for a year, set Mikel Arteta's Gunners away on the night.
It did not take long for Gabriel Martinelli to get in on the goalscoring act soon after, with the Brazilian calmly slotting home to double the lead just before the 20-minute mark, before completing a goalscoring brace in the 27th minute on either side of a Jack Hunt own goal.
Summer signing Eberechi Eze, who was forced to drop deeper into midfield after the pre-match injury suffered by Riccardo Calafiori in the warm-up after Myles Lewis-Skelly was shifted into the back four, also benefited, bagging a brace of assists in what could shape up to be one of his best performances since arriving from Palace.
With Bukayo Saka slotting in behind Gabriel Jesus in the 10 role, and Eze featuring deeper as an 8, could Arsenal have happened upon another tactical tweak that could give them the edge as they look to secure major honours?
