Arsenal ‘the best team in Europe’ says Sunderland boss ahead of Premier League clash | OneFootball

Régis Le Bris believes Arsenal are currently the “best team in Europe” as Sunderland prepare for a daunting Premier League clash with the reigning champions.

Mikel Arteta’s side head to the Stadium of Light on Saturday having made a strong start to the new season, with Le Bris impressed by the quality Arsenal possess throughout their squad.

“It’s still early in the season but they look so strong everywhere,” the Sunderland boss said.

“The bench, every phase, they are just the best team in Europe I think at the minute.

“They have good momentum as well. It’s a good challenge. We need these challenges to get better.”

Sunderland earned a point against the Gunners at the Stadium of Light last season and Le Bris wants his players to embrace the occasion.

“I think we earned last year the opportunity to go again and enjoy it,” he added.
