The summer window is into its final weeks as leading Premier League clubs accelerate plans. According to The Standard, Arsenal will announce Bruno Guimaraes today, have made a shock enquiry for Cristian Romero and have agreed personal terms with Alvarez after Vinicius Jr renewed at Real Madrid.

Guimaraes has passed a medical and signed a four-year deal at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal are paying around £75m to Newcastle, a fee that could rise to £80m.
