Tottenham Hotspur full-back Djed Spence has been offered to Manchester United, while the Red Devils are looking at Chelsea striker Liam Delap, according to Ben Jacobs.

Man United manager Michael Carrick wants more additions at the Old Trafford club, with the Spurs star now emerging as a transfer option.

However, Spence has also been offered to Liverpool and it is unclear whether Man United have indicated interest in him.

The England international wants assurances of regular playing time and is expected to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club this summer.

Everton have also been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who blew Gary Neville away with his performances at the World Cup.

The Toffees have only offered £25 million for his services, while Spurs want at least £35m.

Delap is also expected to leave Chelsea after Xabi Alonso added Danny Welbeck to his striking options.

The Red Devils wanted to sign the 23-year-old English striker from Ipswich Town last summer.

He opted to join the Blues and has found himself surplus to requirements after an underwhelming campaign at the Stamford Bridge club.

Delap ended last season with one goal in 28 Premier League games, but his return of 12 goals in 37 league games in 2024-25 indicates he could be a decent player elsewhere.

Benjamin Sesko will lead the line for Man United next term, but Carrick wants a cover for him, with Joshua Zirkzee likely to leave.

Spence will also be able to provide the Red Devils boss with quality squad depth at right-back and left-back.

The defender can also play on the wings due to his attacking prowess, and Man United will have to decide whether they want him or not.
