Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri arrives ahead of Marseille loan after Saliba advice

Ethan Nwaneri, 18, arrived in Marseille on Wednesday as he closes on a loan move from Arsenal.

William Saliba, 24, joined Arsenal from AS Saint-Étienne in 2019, then took loans at Saint-Étienne, OGC Nice and Olympique de Marseille. His 2021/22 stint at OM was the springboard into Arsenal’s first team.

Nwaneri has struggled for minutes this season at Arsenal and is set to complete a Marseille loan without a buy option.
