Palmeiras have received enquiries from European clubs for left-back Arthur in recent weeks but are not prepared to negotiate this season.
According to Nosso Palestra, unnamed sides from England and Greece contacted the club to explore a deal. Palmeiras cited Jefté’s injury, with the defender only due back in 2027.
A sale in the next transfer window is not ruled out, and the club are expected to seek offers above €10 million, around R$60 million at current rates.
Arthur has been one of Palmeiras’ standouts in the first half of the 2026 season after stepping up to the senior squad this year. He is the immediate understudy to Joaquín Piquerez.
With Piquerez and Jefté sidelined earlier in the year, the academy graduate took the starting role and delivered quickly. He impressed in key matches in April and May.
This season he has made 26 appearances and has a contract with Palmeiras until the end of 2029.
