Palmeiras and Manchester City have scheduled a Saturday meeting that could prove decisive in Allan’s proposed transfer.

According to Globo.com, the Brazilian club want at least 40 million euros to sanction his move to the English side.

There is no formal bid yet, but negotiations began on Friday with figures discussed between 35 and 40 million euros, and both parties now hope the talks will move the deal forward.

Palmeiras had not planned to sell key players this window, having turned away approaches for Flaco López and for Allan, but the board opened discussions once City indicated a willingness to reach 40 million euros, a figure the club deem irresistible.

Allan has been integral to Abel Ferreira’s revamped system, playing as a right wing-back, and is enjoying his best campaign in 2026. He has six goals and five assists in 41 appearances and has been an undisputed starter since last year.
