Arthur, a Grêmio academy graduate and captain, is consolidating his leadership well beyond the pitch. According to Globo.com, he has become a club-wide reference figure and has earned the trust of staff as an internal leader.
Staff admiration stems from his daily conduct at the CT Luiz Carvalho, where he shows concern for everyone who keeps the structure running. After the Gaúcho title, he invited all CT employees and their families to the team’s celebration at a Porto Alegre nightclub. On Tuesday, the club gathered all staff for a photo with the trophy before training.
As captain, he took the Gaúcho trophy to RBS TV and looked at ease behind the scenes. Accompanied by his father Ailton and brother Paulo, he was cordial with everyone who approached.
Since arriving last year, his off-pitch style has stood out, often seen in a blazer and smart trousers, including an Italian outfit on Monday. Spotting Gustavo Martins similarly dressed for a live interview, he joked that the defender should dress like that more often.
He also maintains near-daily supplementary work, including physiotherapy and injury prevention. On Thursday against Bragantino, he is likely to be absent due to physical fatigue.
Arthur wants to remain at Grêmio permanently, although his loan runs until June. The club must resolve terms with Juventus, to whom he is contracted until mid-2027.
