AS Monaco supporters go to training ground as gendarmerie deployed

Several dozen AS Monaco supporters gathered at the La Turbie training ground on Saturday morning to protest, with the gendarmerie deployed. The situation remained calm and did not escalate.

According to Nice-Matin, fans assembled at the entrance after a mobilisation call on social media on Friday night took shape late in the morning.

They sought to express frustration over the season and again pressed for the resignation of Director General Thiago Scuro.

Graffiti was seen around the facility, including messages aimed at Thiago Scuro.

The players were not at the training ground during the gathering.

Normality returned shortly before 14:00 and the graffiti was removed.
