AS Monaco to face Gornik Zabrze in Conference League play-off after Ferencvaros defeat

Gornik Zabrze will face AS Monaco in the Europa Conference League play-off on 20 and 27 August, the second leg at Louis-II.

The draw last week had paired Monaco with the loser of Gornik Zabrze’s Europa League qualifier against Ferencvaros, according to L'Équipe.

Ferencvaros won the first leg 1-0, then drew 1-1 in Poland on Thursday to progress.

The result sends Gornik into the Conference League play-off.

Between the two legs, Filipe Luis’s side visit Le Havre on 23 August for the Ligue 1 opener.

They are currently training in England and face Coventry in a friendly on Friday.
