AS Roma ready bid for Strasbourg’s Diego Moreira | OneFootball

AS Roma are readying an offer for versatile RC Strasbourg Alsace winger Diego Moreira (21), according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio.

It is expected to be a summer of transition at Strasbourg. Following the exit of Gary O’Neil, the Alsace club remain without a manager, whilst many key players are expected to depart. Emanuel Emegha has already left to join Chelsea, whilst another Blues target, Valentin Barco, has already announced his impending exit, even if his move to Stamford Bridge has yet to be officialised. 

Moreira, so key over the course of the past two seasons, is also expected to depart. Earlier this summer, Borussia Dortmund were touted as a suitor, but the Bundesliga giants are not the only interested party in the winger, who can play full-back, wing-back, and on the wing on both sides.

Di Marzio understands that Roma are now preparing to bid €30m for the Belgium international. The bid would also include a 10% sell-on clause.
