Aston Villa complete the signing of Ibrahim Mbaye

Aston Villa have completed the signing of winger Ibrahim Mbaye in a reported €55 million (approx. £47m) deal.

The 18-year-old arrives at Villa Park after having come through the academy at Paris Saint-Germain where he featured 30 times last season, scoring three times and making two assists.

Senegal international Mbaye was also one of the most promising players at the 2026 World Cup and scored his side's only goal in his side's 3-1 defeat to France.

Mbaye becomes Villa's ninth signing of a busy summer that has season a huge squad upheaval for Unai Emery to make gel. Indeed, the Villans could have used Mbaye's attacking talent as they once again failed to register a shot on target in the Premier League against Arsenal on Monday evening.
