Aston Villa defender Frederic Guilbert is being linked with a return to France.

Indeed, L'Equipe says an agreement has already been struck with Strasbourg.

Guilbert will join Strasbourg on-loan to the end of the season and is due in France today for a medical.

The fullback will arrive as a replacement for Kenny Lala, who is signing for Olympiakos.

The 26-year-old hasn't played a Premier League minute this season with Aston Villa.
