Aston Villa and Lazio have shown interest in RB Leipzig’s Tidiam Gomis, according to Fussballdaten.

After spending most of last season on the bench, the 20-year-old has started both of Leipzig’s competitive games this term and delivered three assists.

The report said Villa and Lazio had representatives in the stands for Leipzig’s opening two matches to watch him.

Bayer Leverkusen are also monitoring the Frenchman, who has been used on the wing and up front in recent outings.

Leipzig paid €one million to sign Gomis from SM Caen in February 2025.

He should have another good chance of making Martin Demichelis’ starting XI when Leipzig travel to Werder Bremen on Saturday.
