FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Villans this morning.
It has been reported that Dali has signed on with Aston Villa until summer 2025 while the club hold an option to extend the deal by a further year.
Dali joined Aston Villa from Everton last summer and she has gone on to make her mark for the Midlands club. The midfielder made 21 appearances for Aston Villa in this season’s Barclays Women’s Super League in which she scored five goals. Dali has struck an excellent partnership with fellow midfielder Jordan Nobbs since the player arrived at the club in January. Dali will be hoping to go from strength-to-strength in an Aston Villa shirt in the next two seasons.
After retaining the services of Dali for the next two years, Aston Villa head coach Carla Ward said “This is massive for us. Kenza has really gone up a few levels in the past year and securing her services for the forseeable future shows our ambition.
“Kenza is one of the best midfielders in the WSL, she’s been a real figurehead in what we’re trying to achieve and we’re delighted she has chosen to continue on this journey with us.”
News of Dali’s contract extension comes less than 24 hours after Aston Villa announced the departures of long-serving pair Sian Rogers and Elisha N’Dow. The duo will leave the club this summer after becoming surplus to requirements at The Poundland Bescot Stadium.
