Five big clubs have been named as interested suitors to sign a Chelsea player in 2026, with his future now being made clear.

One of the most dramatic transfer stories of the summer 2025 most certainly involves Chelsea, as it often does these days.

Chelsea had a bit of a situation they had to deal with late on in the window. New striker Liam Delap got a serious injury already and was going to be out for a long time, missing a huge chunk of the first half of the season.

So the club had a big decision to make. They needed cover, where do they turn. They turned to Nicolas Jackson, who was actually in Germany at the time waiting to complete his loan move to join Bayern Munich.

But the striker was dead set on making that move and pushed ahead with it, much to Chelsea’s annoyance, who they had to turn to Marc Guiu instead and recall him from his loan move to Sunderland.

The situation was far from ideal, but it’s clear that no party wants Jackson to be at Chelsea ever again, especially the player himself!

Caught Offside are reporting that Jackson will not be joining Bayern Munich on a permanent deal when his loan contract is up in the summer.

Their sources have said that Jackson will have suitors in the Premier League in the form of Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Everton, while Atletico Madrid and Napoli could also be options from abroad.
