Pre-season can offer a great opportunity for young talents and fringe players to set their marker for the season ahead.
And Aston Villa's George Hemmings has certainly put himself in Unai Emery's thoughts with positive performances ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The 19-year-old midfielder has played a part in the Villans' three friendlies so far and scored in the 5-0 triumph at Walsall last week.
Hemmings, who made his Premier League debut in December against Arsenal, continued his strong recent form and opened the scoring against Real Sociedad on Tuesday evening.
Will we see more of Hemmings throughout the 2026/27 campaign?
