Sunderland resume their Premier League campaign at Villa Park on Sunday, with Aston Villa sitting fourth and fresh from reaching the Europa League last four.

According to Sunderland Echo, both managers have selection calls to make as Le Bris looks to maintain momentum against Unai Emery's in-form side.

Emiliano Martinez is available. He missed last weekend's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest with a minor injury but returned for Thursday's second leg win over Bologna.

Tyrone Mings is also available after a minor issue, having returned to the squad on Thursday night.

For Sunderland, Dan Ballard has been back in full training this week after a hamstring problem that kept him out of the last two games. He will not be rushed and is likely to return on the bench.

Nilson Angulo is out for Sunday. He is making good progress and could be available to face Nottingham Forest next weekend, though the trip to Wolves is probably a more realistic return date.
