Atalanta ‘ask’ Napoli about Noa Lang as loan not considered amid Ajax interest | OneFootball

Sky Sport Italia reports that Atalanta have asked Napoli about Noa Lang. The Netherlands international, 27, is also on Ajax’s radar.

Lang joined Napoli a year ago from PSV Eindhoven for €25m and struggled to make an impact.

He was loaned to Galatasaray in January, who chose not to buy him outright. He later clashed with coach Antonio Conte, criticising his tactics and approach to man-management after leaving.

Atalanta were told Lang is for sale, so a loan is off the table at this stage. That stance might change as the transfer deadline approaches, though Napoli still hope to secure a buyer.

Ajax are considered the most likely suitors, but only if they first sell Mika Godts to Paris Saint-Germain. Former Netherlands international Ronald de Boer has also questioned whether Ajax should sign Lang, citing concerns about his personality.
