Athletic have finalised shirt numbers, with six changes and Unai Vencedor currently without one. According to El Correo, the decisions come ahead of Saturday’s league opener against Sevilla at San Mamés.

Numbers have been set for 25 first team players, plus call-ups from the B team. Seven will use Bilbao Athletic numbers, including Peio Canales, who will wear 28 to avoid taking a first team spot while still under 23.

Álex Padilla switches from 27 to 13, the shirt previously worn by Agirrezabala. His old 27 goes to B team goalkeeper Mikel Santos.

In midfield, Beñat Prados takes the number six left vacant by Mikel Vesga after his move to Almería, with Gerenabarrena inheriting 24 from Prados. Rego will wear 20, previously held by Unai Gómez following his move to Italy.

Vencedor is the only player without a squad number as he looks for a move. Further changes could still occur before the first of September, even for players already assigned first team numbers.
