Athletic end window without a signing as Edin Terzić backs what he has | OneFootball

Athletic have ended the window without a first-team signing, leaving Edin Terzić to rely on returnees and academy promotions, according to La Colina De Nervion.

The German, contracted until 30 June 2028, now prepares to host Atlético Madrid at San Mamés on Saturday 5 September with no scope for late reinforcements.

His first three LaLiga games brought three points, three scored and five conceded. They lost 1-3 to Sevilla, then 2-0 at Barcelona, before winning 0-2 at Celta through Álex Berenguer and Robert Navarro.

Hugo Rincón and Beñat Gerenabarrena return from Girona and Castellón respectively and have already debuted for the first team. Rincón has two appearances, while Gerenabarrena has featured in all three league matches.
