Atlético beat Betim and go top of the Mineiro U20 decagonal

Atlético’s Under-20 team beat Betim 4-0 in a match valid for the 7th round of the Decagonal stage of the Campeonato Mineiro. The game was played on Sunday morning (30) at Cidade do Galo. The goals were scored by forwards Murillo, Mosquito (2) and Riquelme.

With the result, Alvinegro moves to the top of the standings, with two rounds remaining before the end of this stage of the state championship.

THE MATCH

The team, coached by Henrique Teixeira, took the field with some changes from the last match. Midfielder Índio, recovered from injury, got the chance to return to the pitch and play the first 45 minutes. Forward Riquelme, who played for the Under-17s last Tuesday and scored one of the goals in the 6-1 rout of Santos, was also on the field.

Atlético controlled the entire game and was already leading 3-0 by the 32nd minute of the first half. Even with the halftime changes, the team kept up the pressure on the opposition, who created very little.

Midfielders Natã, Rafa and Eric, forwards Jonatas and Ronaldo, and right-back Wanderson came on. Midfielders Índio and Rafa (after suffering a fall and complaining of pain in his right hand), forwards Murillo, João Teixeira and Mosquito, and right-back Luis Gustavo went off.
