Antoine Griezmann has been enjoying a strong season with Atlético de Madrid, already netting 10 goals. However, that promising run hits a slight bump this Friday with the club's latest announcement. The Madrid side revealed that the French forward will be sidelined due to a muscle injury sustained during training.
"Griezmann is suffering from a minor muscle lesion in his left thigh, diagnosed by the club's medical staff after an MRI was performed on our striker. The Frenchman picked up the injury in training on Friday. His return to competition will depend on the progress of his recovery." the club communicated.
