The Unión Internacional de Peñas del Atlético said in a statement it will complain to the Consejo Superior de Deportes over the organisation of the Copa del Rey final against Real Sociedad.

Issued three days after the match, the statement decried access problems at Seville’s La Cartuja and the absence of explanations or apologies from the federation, Seville City Council or the club.

It condemned what it described as chaotic, profit driven organisation, criticising those around Louzán and also its own club. Fans, in its view, felt defenceless and were treated with contempt.

It called ticket prices exorbitant, claiming they were the highest in Europe and even above the Champions League final, and alleged they were agreed with the clubs, adding the federation’s president had admitted as much and none had denied.

It also censured the Fan Zone, saying VIP guests were catered for while paying fans endured multiple problems. It argued poor planning and professionalism put health and safety at risk.

It urged Atlético to report the federation and Seville City Council and to hold its own officials to account. Submissions are invited via juridico@unionatm.es for a potential lawsuit. It wants the CSD to seek explanations from the federation and identify those responsible, starting with its president, whom it deems not up to the job. It added it would not be surprised if he considered taking the Cup abroad, as with the Supercopa, and said he should have resigned.
