Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez erupted in frustration after being substituted midway through the second half against Atletico Madrid.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, El Toro ‘was not happy’ with the coach’s decision to take him off in the 73rd minute.

Seeking his first goal in ‘big matches’ this season, Lautaro was desperate to impress after a bleak performance in the Milan derby.

However, he failed to add to his four-goal tally in this season’s Champions League, as Atletico Madrid shut him out.

Yet, the 45-year-old’s choice didn’t sit well with Lautaro, who was visibly frustrated as he left the pitch.

Indeed, he gestured his displeasure toward the bench after failing to find the net in yet another high-profile game.

The 28-year-old striker has now drawn a blank in all five heavyweight clashes this season.
