Atlético Madrid ‘seriously considering’ move for another Atalanta star | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have earmarked another member of the first-team ranks at Atalanta as a summer transfer target.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Ademola Lookman as the player in question.

Atlético, of course, have already gone shopping in Bergamo once this summer.

As much culminated in the Rojiblancos securing reinforcements at left-back, courtesy of the signing of Matteo Ruggeri.

Diego Simeone and co, though, are now casting admiring glances the way of a 2nd Atalanta star…

Atlético are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements out wide with a view to next season, with the aforementioned Ademola Lookman considered the ideal profile.

As per MD:

‘Lookman is very popular at the Metropolitano and his signing is being seriously considered.’

It is also noted, however, that the board at the Gewiss Stadium have slapped a price-tag of €50-60 million on the head of their gifted winger, a sum which Atléti have no intention of paying.
