Atlético Madrid star returns to training before Real Oviedo | OneFootball

La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have on Thursday been afforded a timely boost on the injury front.

As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, Jan Oblak was this morning spotted back out on the grass, being put through his paces in training.

Goalkeeper Oblak has for his part been forced to sit out each of Atlético’s two fixtures since the November international break.

As much comes owing to a knee issue suffered whilst lining out for Slovenia against Kosovo.

In the absence of the Rojiblancos icon, Juan Musso has done a fine job, en route to respective victories over Getafe and Inter Milan.

Diego Simeone and co, though, will nevertheless be delighted with the latest developments at the Atléti training ground.

This comes with Oblak now back in the thick of things, expected to be cleared to return between the posts when he and his teammates play host to Real Oviedo this weekend.
