Auxerre only Ligue 1 side to make Anthony Martial approach | OneFootball

Anthony Martial’s (30) future is expected to be decided next week, L’Équipe understands. The Frenchman will not be making the move to Ligue 1, however.

The publication understands that the former Manchester United forward was offered to several Ligue 1 clubs over the summer. The former France international is currently a free agent. His last stint came in Mexico with CF Monterrey. Laurent Koscielny has already confirmed that Martial was offered to FC Lorient, however, the Breton club turned down the opportunity.

Two Spanish clubs and two Russian clubs in for Martial

The only club in France to have submitted an offer was AJ Auxerre, now managed by Will Still. However, no deal was reached. His future will likely be decided during the international break. Malaga are in talks, as are another unnamed Spanish club, L’Équipe understands, whilst two Russian clubs, CSKA Moscow and Krasnodar, are both in contact and are looking to pull off a deal.
