Lassine Sinayoko (25) is looking to try and force through his move from AJ Auxerre to OGC Nice, L’Équipe understands. The Malian forward could even skip training on Tuesday in order to try and force the issue.

Kevin Carlos Omoruyi arrived at Nice on Monday in order to reinforce an attack that has seen Evann Guessand and Gaëtan Laborde depart. However, more arrivals are expected in this sector and Sinayoko has emerged as a priority target. However, an agreement has yet to be reached with Auxerre. Two offers have so far been rejected. A third offer, worth €6m plus another €1m in bonuses, was being prepared. Ultimately, this wasn’t submitted. Le Gym have informed Auxerre that they wish to put the deal on stand-by until after the weekend, when the two sides face each other.

In the meantime, Sinayoko is exerting pressure on his side. He is desperate to make the move and is growing frustrated. He may miss today’s training session as he takes his attempts to force through a transfer to the next level.
